Types of Electrical Measurements Conducted

According to Government Resolution No. 238, inspections of electrical installations include the following mandatory measurements:

• Grounding Loop Resistance Measurement: A measurement that determines the effectiveness of the protective grounding system to ensure protection against electric shocks.
• Insulation Resistance Measurement: Insulation testing is conducted to prevent short circuits and current leakage in case of insulation damage due to external factors or aging.
• Measurement of Total Resistance of the 'Phase-Neutral' Circuit: A measurement necessary for calculating the possible short-circuit current and checking whether the installed automatic circuit breakers and other protective devices will operate quickly enough.
• Continuity Resistance Measurements of Grounding Conductors: The continuity and low resistance of all protective conductors (PE) and equipotential bonding connections are checked to ensure safe operation of the protection system.
• Act of Inspection of Electrical Installation Connections (Thermography): Thermography is used to identify areas with elevated temperatures in distribution boards and connection points, indicating poor contact resistance and potential fire hazards.

Results of the Service and Documentation

After measurements are taken, the client receives a full set of technical documentation confirming the condition of the electrical installations and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The documentation includes:

• Measurement Acts with a digital signature from a certified electrician.
• Electrical Schematics (single-pole or other relevant schematics) if not provided by the client.
• Task Lists and Descriptions for Circuit Breakers if they were not available.
• A Copy of the Electrician's Certificate, copies of calibration certificates, and other necessary documentation.

This documentation is mandatory for inspections and required for insurance purposes.

Determination of Prices

The starting price for measurements is from 150 EUR for a distribution cabinet designed for installing 12 circuit breakers, provided that documentation of the existing electrical installation is available to the client.

The final costs are determined individually and depend on the following factors:

• The number of lines and circuit breakers in the distribution board.
• The availability and condition of junction boxes.
• The complexity and scope of the electrical installation.

If the client lacks the schematic of the electrical installation, our specialist will develop it, and it will be included in the documentation package. The exact price will be determined by our specialist after assessing the initial situation and consultation.

Elimination of Identified Non-Conformities

During measurements, non-conformities to Government Resolution No. 238 may be detected.

• Minor Non-Conformities (for example, discrepancies between the characteristics of circuit breakers and the parameters of the installed cable) can be addressed by our specialist on-site or during the next visit for an additional fee.
• In case of significant non-conformities, the client is offered the following options:
1. Order correction of the non-conformities from our specialists with the preparation of the corresponding estimate.
2. Receive measurement acts with recorded non-conformities and assign the correction of the deficiencies to another certified organization.
